Transfer Student Acquisition

Robert Morris University had experienced down turns in enrollment for the past several years. Several suburban campuses were closed and their marketing budgets had been trimmed. Student recruitment was a top priority with an emphasis on “transfer students”. Access Direct pinpointed locations where City Colleges of Chicago (CCC) students frequented, and served them ads while they were there. We retargeted them later with digital ads at their homes and on their mobile devices.

A rapid 15-month degree completion was promoted and linked to a landing page where CCC Transfer students were offered $30,000 towards a degree and urged them to RSVP for an open house. The campaign resulted in 89 open house attendees, and 31 transfer students – earning $21,400 per conversion, for a total of $663,400 raised from newly acquired transfer students.
